Hi Everyone! My family is planning a trip to Nice end of July. We booked an Airbnb in Cannes which is approximately 20 mins walk to train station (public transportation is ~ 13 mins and Uber is ~ 5 mins). It will be 13 of us (age range is from 8 - 72 years old with limited mobility). We want to use public transportation to visit the region, but wondering if we chose to explore a town outside the train/bus route - what options do we have that doesn’t involve renting a car? Is there any transportation services that have a huge van that can fit us all or we are stuck with having to rent at least 2 cars? Thanks!
MAK2323,
Based on the size of European cars (smaller than their name implies, compared to American cars of the same designation) you may need three cars or two vans for your group, should you find you need to rent. Are you staying in Nice or in Cannes? In between the two? I don't understand the reference to the Cannes train station with a trip to Nice. Nice is about 33 km from Cannes.

That’s a bus.
Thanks, I was afraid with the large group we are looking at a mini-bus if those exists.
We’ll stick to public transportation I guess.
