Bonjour Tatn, the official website for the Paris Museum Pass is http://en.parismuseumpass.com/. This will give you all the info you need regarding what is included and the cost. You can purchase the pass at many of the covered locations, including the Louvre. However, to save time, I suggest that you go to one of the smaller museums such as the Rodin, and purchase it there. Note that visitors under the age of 18 are free at many of the museums. Hope you and your family have a great time in Paris!

Thank you very much.
Do you know that the young kids can come with us or we still have to wait in line to pick up the free pass for them?

your younger two kids can just walk in with the rest of you with the passes except at Invalides where there is rarely a big line and kids need to get free tickets. Be sure your 17 year old in particular has at least a copy of the passport in case it is necessary to prove age. I never got asked when going to museums with a 14 year old who didn't look older than her age.

On transport, all of your kids can get the Ticket Jeune day transport pass on weekend days and this is a great deal. For zones 1-3 it is 3.75. For 1-5, it is 8.10 for unlimited travel for Saturday OR Sunday; of course that means buying two if you want to use them both days.

You mentioned transport in your title but not the main body of your post. To be clear, the Paris Museum Pass does not include any transportation.

There is a weekly transport pass available in Paris called the Navigo Semaine, but it is only available for a calendar week from Monday to Sunday, not for any consecutive seven days. It is worth buying if you are arriving on a Monday or Tuesday and staying for a week. Otherwise, the most efficient way of paying for transport in Paris is usually to purchase carnets ("CAR-neh") of ten single-journey tickets at a discount price. These tickets cover transfer between metro and RER lines as part of a single journey, and from one bus or tram to another, but not transfers between metro/RER and road transport.

Day tickets, and the Paris Visite multi-day passes aimed at tourists, are not usually good value for money.
