Transportation from Rue Cler to CDG

We are staying in an apt on Rue Cler and have a flight from CDG at 11:00 am on Sat, Oct. 3. Reading here I see that we must arrive at CDG three hours prior to departure. Any suggestions on best way for the three of us to get to CDG? I know we will not be near the RER station with direct access to CDG. Would a taxi be best due to having luggage with us? What's the best way to arrange a taxi?

Make a reservation through G7 taxis (see on the web) if you are interested in using a taxi.

with 3 people a cab is really the only sensible way to go. Book it the day before with G7 English line or on line. Assume it will arrive about 5 minutes ahead so be ready and cabs charge from dispatch so it will arrive with some money on the meter. I always have a back up plan for the RER just in case, but have never had the Taxis Parisien fail me.

I stayed a block off Rue Cler. Flight was at CDG on July 1, Wednesday 11:00 AM and there were four of us with 4 large bags and 4 carry ons. We do not travel light! The plan was to arrive at CDG three hours early as you will. I ask the hotel to have a taxi pick us up. They suggested it arrive at 7:00 and with our luggage that they request a van. Van arrived 5 minutes early. I forgot to look at the exact CDG arrival time but it was a few minutes before 8:00. Cost was 65 euro. Everything was perfect except going thru security but that's another story. If we hadn't gotten there three hours early we would have missed our plane.
