I am debating between train or bus from Pau to San Sebastian. Is this route direct between cities or there is a change point?
Would love to hear from those that have done both. Also, wanting to visit Lourdes, can anyone recommend a tour company in Pau?
Thank you in advance for your comments. Luisa
Take the Flixbus direct takes 2 hours and 30 minutes, but It only runs on Friday and Saturday. The train requires two changes one in Bayonne and then another in Hendiaye to the Eukostren.
I’m not sure if you would find a ride from Pau to Saint Sebastian on the Ouibus, but we took the Ouibus from Saint Jean de Luz to Saint Sebastian easily this summer.
https://www.seat61.com/ Is a great reference for train travel.
