transportation from chateau d'eau subway in Canal St Martin to the RER C line (yellow) in Paris

What is the schedule for the Chateau d'eau subway in Canal St Martin to get on to then catch the RER C line in Paris to travel to Versailles early on Sun., Aug. 27? (We need to pick a time we'll be arriving at Versailles and can't seem to find a scedule.)
Thanks in advance!

Are you .looking at the RATP website? Perhaps try looking at the timetable for this Sunday. They probably aren't publishing operating schedules that far out.

The whole journey should take about 1.5 hours, a bit less if you are lucky with the waiting time for the RER C. Metro Line 4 to St Michel, then RER C.

Hello!
So I just want to find out the best route to get from 63 rue des Vinaigrier to Versailles. Which one?
A) Metro LIne 4 to St. Michel then RERC (total 1.5 hours)
B) Metro Line 4 to Paris Monparnasse and then the train (assuming RERC?) to Versailles (total 40 min.)

Thanks in advance!

Definitely route A to Versailles Château Rive Gauche station.
Route B does not take 40 minutes (more like 1h15min), and leaves you far from the palace (20 min walk at least). It does not use the RER C but the N train instead, so it uses a different station in Versailles (called Versailles Chantiers).

So, I was posed an additional way to travel from 63 rue des Vinaigriers to Versailles.
Thoughts on this below? (vs. Metro Line 4 to St. Michel, then RERC - 1.5 hrs.)

Take gare de l"est purple line to St. Michel.
Transfer to Orange Line to Versailles.

You should download the Citymapper app and switch the city to Paris and examine the possibilities that way.

Even better if you will have data on your phones during your visit and can use it live.

It is going to make finding your way around Paris much much easier.

(Also in Paris, while it's helpful to visually identify the lines by their colors, they really are called by their numbers. If you ask a stranger for help and mention the “purple line,” they aren't going to know what you are talking about — but if you say Line 8 or Line 7 or whatever, they will know immediately.

That's your route A. Line 4 is purplish, RER C is vaguely orange. Nobody uses colors: there are way too many shades for this to be practical. For example, 3 different lines are purplish, and at least 3 are somewhere between yellow and orange.

Last but not least, on a Sunday morning traffic is minimal. A taxi or Uber will cost about 40-50€.
