Transportation from Chamonix to Annency then to Geneva

I am going to Chamonix. I plan to take a side trip to Annency then to Geneva and fly out.
I don't have a car. Any recommendation for transpartation from Chamonix to Annency, and from Annency to Geneva.

Train from Chamonix to Annecy, a little over 3 hrs. Bus from Annecy to Geneva, a little over an hour.
