Transportation suggestions and information are what I'm hoping for now
Plane...Train...or Automobile? If so...where...what...how?
Strasbourg to Paris -
Paris - Nice
Nice - Aix
Aix - Cassis
That's the end of this section of our trip with our son - He flies out of Marseille back to Munich
None suitable for plane. Maybe Nice-Paris, but is just about a draw on time, and train wins on convenience and comfort.
All suitable for train.
If you want to try car - fine - but it will be likely more expensive when you consider tolls, parking and fuel as well as rental than train and much slower in most cases.
I'd suggest the train for the first 2 legs, but after that the distances aren't that great, so I'd suggest getting a car when you leave Nice, unless you don't want to see any towns along the way.
