We are planning a trip to Lyon, Annecy, and Chamonix next April. Our original plan was to travel to Geneva by bus and stay overnight on our last full day so we could get to the Geneva Airport the following day. However, it looks like it is relatively easy to travel directly to the Geneva Airport directly from Chamonix via shuttle bus or a shared ride at least during ski season. We were wondering if these and other modes of transportation were readily available, ran frequently, and where affordable in the shoulder season. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Buses run year-round; Blablabus (yup) runs at least daily, and I think Flixbus does as well. Including some buses to the airport itself.
Thanks to a relatively recent railway you can also take the train to Geneva Cornavin (central) station. It takes a little bit longer but could be more comfortable, there is just an easy transfer to make in Le Fayet. If needed, there are frequent trains from Geneva Cornavin to the airport.
