Transport from Nice train station to hotel

Hi,

We are taking the train Paris to Nice. Our hotel is right on the promenade and a 16 min walk from the station.

With kids and roller bags, besides a taxi, what options do I have to get from the station to the hotel?

Our hotel is right across RS recommended Le Galet

TIA!

How old and how many kids? If they are young, can you realistically wrangle them and your luggage on and off of a tram? If they're old enough, walk. If they're young, take a taxi.

I would either take the taxi, or ride the tram. The tram was 1.50 Euro (10 tickets for 10 E) when I was there. I rode it to the Massena tram stop, and my hotel was a block from there. It looks like that would be your tram stop, also.

If your kids are young, I would opt for the taxi since you would have their luggage.

I really enjoyed my five days in the Nice area! Have a great time!

TY!

Looks like Taxi might be the easier and not too much more an expensive option.

I always worry about finding the “official” taxi
at an airport. What company should I be looking for and would a credit card work or do I need to
worry about cash etc?

thx

It's a gentle downhill slope, well paved, from the train station to the promenade. The tram may be more complicated since you'd have to buy tickets from a machine and get off at the correct stop or end up too far away if you miss it.

I would ask the hotel for taxi information.
