Is there a translator device? I know there are apps for my IPHONE but wondered if a device devoted to just translation would be better.

Your IPhone apps work very well. No need for an extra device to be carrying around.

There used to be translation devices, but with the availability of translation apps, I can't imagine there would be much of a market for those now.
