walk out of Gare du Nord.. following the signs to "TAXI".. get in the line up ( do not accept a ride from a taxi driver who walks up to you) .. at front of line a dispatcher will assign you a properly licenced taxi. Meter must be used.. no set pricing allowed.
IF you wish to take a taxi to Orly hotel can call you one.. it will arrive with money on the meter as they turn their meters on from time of call . Or you can use this private taxi service.. I have, its reliable and the operators speak English.
G7 Taxis. You can prebook them or call them when there. I don't know how to do links.. but if you google G7 taxi they come right up.

Why don't you just take a taxi? From the official taxi rank at Gare du Nord, set up by the hotels for the others.

G7 taxis are just taxis and they arrive with money on the meter just like any other taxi. We always use them, they are reliable -- but they are not different from other taxis. You pay a slight reservation fee for taxis ordered during rush hour.

It's very close. A taxi will take you, but you're a small fare for them. I don't know if a car service would bother with such a short route. We stay near there and walk, but if you can't, you're best off getting in the taxi line.

Don't let anyone take you out of the line, or talk to you in English saying they have a cab for you, but work your way up to the head of the line and have the official taxi person place you in a waiting taxi. Taxis pull up two or three at a time. Get in your taxi as the others are getting in theirs. Don't let anyone say they have a special taxi for you, or your 10 euro trip will become 60 euro.

As for the trip to Orly, ask Novotel to book a car or taxi for you.
