Transfer Info from CDG (Paris) to TGV

We are scheduled to arrive on Delta at 8:30AM and need to transfer to TGV for Strasbourg at 10:26AM or 12:52PM. We are experienced RS Travelers who have been slowed by age. How complicated or time consuming to get from Terminal 2E to RR Station?
Rick mentions long walk to RR Station -is there an alternative such as Taxi which would be better for two dinosaurs travelling with luggage (One bag each-RS Style)? Thank you.

I did this last November. The walk is about ten minutes and is quite easy. I'm in my seventies and a couch potato and use Rick's non-rolling back pack. There are luggage trolleys available but you can't use them for the whole route. I think it would be more difficult taking a taxi than walking to the TGV station. Unless your flight arrives late, just take your time and enjoy the stroll. Enjoy Strasbourg. Try to have lunch at Porcus but make a reservation.

See the maps here. Your two-hour window should be adequate unless your flight is seriously delayed. It would help not to have to wait for checked bags.

There is no taxi connection--it's all one huge complex in Terminal 2. I've done the transfer from a Delta flight to the TGV station, including clearing passport control, in less than an hour, but I was very prepared (carry-on only, got permission to use the first-class express line at passport control, studied airport maps and the Paris By Train CDG site in advance). If you plan to buy your TGV tickets in advance, chose the 12:52 PM departure. If you wait until you get to CDG to buy your TGV tickets, they will cost a lot more, but you have more flexibility. To save time buying tickets, you will need a true chip-and-PIN credit card for the ticket machines (NOT chip-and-signature). The clerks at the ticket desk can take regular US credit cards without any chip. Enjoy your trip and don't stress out too much.

Imagine the reaction of a cabbie who has been waiting an hour for a fare at CDG and is asked to drive a few hundred feet and then get back in line and wait another hour.
