We want to take a shuttle (bus or other...depending on cost) from Chamonix to the Geneva Airport. I am reading very mixed reviews of bus options. Anyone used the bus or shuttle option recently and have information to share?

There are a number of transfer services between Geneva and Chamonix. Usually they're shared transport for several people, however I was fortunate when I used the service from Geneva Airport to Chamonix, as I was the only passenger. The driver dropped me right at the door to my hotel, so I was very pleased with the service. We used Chamonix Valley Transfers in 2021. They were on time, the driver was friendly, would recommend. There were four of us, so the cost of the private transfer was worth it to us.

I'm doing the reverse, GVA to Chamonix and the two best seem to be either Alpy Transfers or Swisstours.

There are 3 bus lines that go from Chamonix to Geneva Airport; Swisstours, BlaBlaBus,
and Flixbus. They mostly go nonstop, so no issues with connections or a local-type bus
run. They will be inexpensive relatively speaking. But, you have to get to the Chamonix
bus station to catch the bus. In general, the buses are clean and have wi-fi and a restroom.
It's only a 75-90 minute ride.
A private or shared shuttle will most likely pick you up at the hotel and take you to the
airport. A shared shuttle is not as easy to find, since the companies tend to not want to
have to coordinate the pickups. A private shuttle can be quite pricey since you are
paying for the entire vehicle. findtransfers.com is a good tool for soliciting bids from
multiple companies.
