We are arriving from in Nice from the U.S. at 10:00 a.m. next week and are thinking of taking the tram from the airport to our hotel. It’s inexpensive and reports say it takes about 30 minutes. Any experience in doing this?
Alternative would be to take an UberX vs a taxi. Thoughts?
We have taken it. Short ride. It seemed like everyone took it.
just a note, to get to the Vieux Ville (Old Town) you may need to transfer from line 2 to 1 (or walk the remaining way). The need depends on where you are staying. The trip is pretty straightfoward, other than the need to transfer from the underground line to the above ground (and the tram is air conditioned). If you have a lot of luggage or are in a far corner of the old town, a taxi/uber might be more convenient.
Gooster, thanks for the tip. I wrote our hotel and their reply said to get off at the Messina stop. We are very near the Albert 1 Gardens.
