I will be arriving at Charles De Gaulle on Sept 28 2026. I want to then to go Antwerp. How much time should I allow from landing and getting the train? Can I get a ticket that would be good all day in case there are travel delays
I would allow three hours if the train leaves from CDG and four hours if it leaves from central Paris.
To get to Antwerp by train, you need to either take one of the trains from CDG, which will require a change, or get into Paris, to the Gare du Nord. Use an official taxi (flat rate €56), approx 35- 45 minutes, or the RER B (36 min). The Eurostar direct trains require a ticket for a specific train and are considerably cheaper when bought well in advance. They can be exchanged up to an hour before departure, but you pay the difference to the current price. You can check the SNCF (French) or SNCB (Belgian) rail websites for times and prices.
To allow for slight delays and passport control, and possibly luggage retrieval, it's usually recommended to allow 4 hours minimum between arrival and train departure if leaving from Paris
From CDG, there are few SNCF TGV INOUI wich goes to Brussels. You need to book a seat.
From Brussels to Antwerp, you doesn't need to book a train.
