My husband and I were planning to spend a night in Paris between traveling from Bruges to Bern area in Switzerland on April 14, just to break up the train ride. However, just learned of the strike that's going on in France, and there's a designated strike the day we'd be traveling on a long-distance train from Paris to Switzerland. Has anyone traveled recently in a similar circumstance to know whether we can take the risk and travel on from Paris? Been checking out train times on the SNCF website, and they don't show any options (or rather "full train") from Paris to Switzerland because of the strike.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
