Train vs rental car from CDG. Need updated information.

We will be arriving CDG in June around 10am and are trying to decide about taking a train to
Dijon, renting a car there to drive to Beaune or renting and picking up at the airport and driving to
Beaune from CDG.

Is the train station we need at CDG or would we need to go into the city to get the train?

What's advantage to doing one over the other?

There are no direct trains from Charles de Gaulle to Dijon. Most leave from Paris Gare de Lyon, which you can reach by RER+Metro (with a connection) or directly from the airport by LeBusDirect Line 4.

Train tickets purchased in advance are generally useless if you miss the scheduled train.

It's a pretty straight drive on the autoroute, but if you're jet-lagged after a long flight, then you may not be safe to drive.

Where are you flying from? It is really irresponsible to fly all night and then drive long distances. Take the train and pick up the car the next day.
