Hello, cross posting this on the Switzerland forum as well. But wanted to ask here as well as our trip originates in Paris, so would be presumably (?) booking train tickets from French railway.
We would appreciate any guidance on websites -- and how far out it is advised -- to purchase train tickets from Paris to Zurich in late February (one way) from the United States.

I responded on the Switzerland thread. The answer: you can book the whole journey in one place on the Swiss train site, and that is what I recommend for simplicity.
I have always found the French train websites difficult to use, while the Swiss website is very user-friendly.
I explained there about substantial discounts available for the Paris to Zurich segment with early booking.
