Train Travel from Normandy Area to Chartres

Of course train service is nearly everywhere. Probably have to go into Paris and back out to Chartres. Or are you asking about direct train service?

Normandy is a pretty big area, but yes, you can get train service from many of the towns. You will almost certainly have one or more train changes depending on your starting point., but you won't necessarily have to go all the way to Paris. I saw changes in Caen and LeMans from Bayeux, or Rennes and LeMans from MSM. Check the sncf website for exact details

There's no train service to or from Mont St Michel, you have to take a bus or shuttle to connect with the nearest train station, which I think is Pontorson (but you'll want to check that).
