Train to Paris from Dijon

Hello,
I will be leaving a group in Dijon to return home. I have a flight on Monday October 9th at 10:30AM. Is it possible to take the train directly from Dijon to CDG Airport? Or is it best to return to Paris on Sunday? I'm confused with the train sites as some say its a 7 hour journey and others say its less than 2 hours.
Any tips or information would be appreciated!

It is better to go to Paris the day before than to try to catch a train at the crack of dawn to be at the airport two hour before your flight.

There is more than one train type; the one that takes 2 hours is the high speed TGV
This one is the earliest on the day of your flight. You would not make it

which train sites are you using?

You can't do it by train on the day you fly.

The earliest you can get to CDG by train from Dijon Ville is 9:03 (direct, deps from Dijon at 7:06) which won't work since you need to be there by 7:30.

It isn't any better going via Paris Gare de Lyon, 20 minutes later in fact.

I'd suggest not spending your last night in Dijon for such an early flight.

You should spend the previous night at a CDG hotel for such an early flight. We saw a huge traffic jam recently, direction toward CDG, due to a traffic accident and road construction. Many going that direction probably missed flights.

The high speed trains will take less than 2 hours. We took the high speed train from Dijon to Paris. 90 minutes to Gare de Lyon. Fast and comfortable. I definitely would not try and take a train back the day of a flight. Too much room for error.
