I'm wondering the best site to drop off our rental car and which train station, either Amboise (near the train station) or near Saint Pierre Des Corps is closest to a AutoEurope site. Thanks!

For convenience of the car rental office itself, offices are right at the station at Saint Pierre Des Corps but not very close to the station in Amboise, per notes in Rick's book (p. 371) and my recollection of previous research.
Regarding train schedule, TGV departures from Saint Pierre Des Corps to Paris Montparnasse are faster and more frequent, but also require reservations. From Amboise, there are just a few direct InterCity trains per day to Paris Austerlitz station (around 6:30, 11:30, 15:30, and 17:30, confirm for your travel date) but tickets are a bit cheaper and don't require reservations.

I did the same thing in reverse picking up a Hertz car at St Pierre Des Corps right outside the station.

Use the rental website to read the days and hours of the offices. For example, they are often closed for two hours of lunch.

Matt, We will be finishing up a week in Normandy, Brittany and the Loire and heading to Paris for the last week of our vacation. I just wanted to know which site was best for turning in the rental car with quick access to the right train station. It sounds like the Saint Pierre Des Corps site is the best. Any info or advice is welcome!
