Train Ticket Validation

I purchased train tickets on the SNCF web site. Says on the ticket "This E-Ticket confirmation does not require to be stamped".
Does this mean I just hop on board in my appropriate seat? I've read previous posts about needing tickets to get stamped/validated, so I just want to make sure I do things correctly. Thanks.

Yes, you just hop on board and find your seat. The conductor will come around and ask to see your ticket. I'm not sure about in France but sometimes you will need to show the cc which you used to purchase the ticket also. So be sure to have it with you.

The e-ticket has a date, time, train number, coach number and seat number on it. It is only valid on that train in that seat. There is no risk of you using it twice and defrauding SNCF.
Normal tickets are valid on any train, so you must stamp it (with date and time) before you get on the train to stop you using it twice.

Just get on the train, sit in your seat and relax, but don't forget to bring the e-ticket with you.
