Train Terminals at CDG

Hi there- looking to book tickets (via Trainline) from CDG to Avignon, and two options for CDG - CDG and CDG T2.
Could someone please help clarify and direct to which option I should select? Thank you :)

Thank you! One more note - Looking for Sept 2 - currently only Ouigo train options are listed ... has anyone seen any communications on when other train services release Sept schedule?

The train station at CDG is called AEROPORT CDG2 TGV ROISSY.

Unless you offer more information to include the time and date, it would be very difficult to know the details within your search results. It is possible that you are receiving somewhat dissimilar information for Ouigo, TGV or inOui trains, but they are all TGVs departing from the lowest level of CDG terminal 2.

If you select a Ouigo train, you must be checked in by no later than 30 minutes before departure.

I assume you're flying into CDG. You might want to look into a rail-air ticket so if your flight is delayed they put you on the next train. Air France has this; see https://www.airfrance.us/US/en/common/resainfovol/avion_train/reservation_avion_train_tgvair_airfrance.htm

However there are going to be more frequent trains out of Paris proper to Avignon than from CDG to Avignon. You might end up waiting less and still have a decent safety margin if you go from Paris.

Everyone has their own travel preferences. Me, I don't like to combine long-distance trains with flights since I've been on too many delayed flights. Nor is it fun to sit jetlagged for a few hours waiting for a train. If I was planning this trip I'd spend the nite and Paris and take a train that I'm certain to make out the next morning.

I am also arriving at cdg in September and trying to catch a TGV train to Strasbourg. It does not appear they released a schedule past mid August. We have a eurail pass and can not make a seat reservation yet.

Thank you jtrest1!
I have yet to see any additional trains added to the September CDG to Avignon route either ... hoping more will show in July perhaps?
