Train drivers throughout France are expected to go on strike on June 4. One week later on June 11, train ticket inspectors are expected to go out on strike throughout the country. Both strikes are expected to heavily impact train travel in France.
In addition, the CGT—the Federation of Railway Workers— has called for a General Strike on June 5. However, few unions other than the 650,00-member CGT have indicated support for the strike. That means —should the strike occur—the impact will primarily be on train travel throughout France on June 5.
