We want to take the train from Marseille to Toulon on a Saturday in September but the schedule doesn’t offer any. The day before and the day after have plenty of choices. I can’t understand why no trains that day. Thanks
The most usual explanation is that the tracks are being worked on and thus not open; that kind of work is usually done on weekends so as not to interfere with commuters. You might see if the train website shows work being done then.
These are local commuter trains. The SNCF website shows that tickets will soon be available. So my conclusion is: Engineering works require a schedule change, and that schedule change has not been finalized and published yet.
