Train schedule, Paris to Rouen

I have been checking the June 20, 2016 SNCF schedule for the Paris to Rouen train and there are only two trains - 6:11 a.m., arriving at 7:50, and 6:53 p.m., arriving at 8:25. In the 2016 Rick Steves France book, he mentions the trains depart nearly hourly. Out of curiosity, I checked the schedule for July 1, and there are additional trains, but not the "nearly hourly" schedule mentioned in the book.

I suspect that the current schedule will change to reflect Summer travel. Does anyone know if/when the SNCF schedule does change, or is the comment in the France guide inaccurate? We are planning on picking up a rental car in Rouen to begin touring Normandy, the Loire Valley and the Dordogne in June. We may have to modify our plans if the schedule doesn't change.

Vernon,
You can buy your tickets up to 90 days in advance, so it's too early to see all the available trains for your June trip now.

You can get an idea of the train schedules by choosing a date in the next 2-3 months.

It looks like you have a great trip planned out!

Edit: You may want to sign up for a "booking alert" by SNCF (via email), when your preferred train tickets become available

Also, most schedules across Europe are adjusted just a bit on June 12 (or at least they have the opportunity to do so). However, you can see schedules for this route already published for June 20 at the DB schedule link (which does not sell French tickets).
