Train questions for Marseille->Arles->Avignon

Hello.

We are traveling via train from Marseille Saint Charles station (since we are staying in Vieux port area) to Arles for the day, then on to Avignon. I am using the sncf-connect site to review train schedules

There is a Zou! that takes ~ 1:05hr leaving at 8:40 AM from Marseille -> Arles. Do I need to buy in Advance?

On our way from Arles-> Avignon Centre there are a few good options. "Direct Zou!" vs "Direct TGV inoui" vs Direct TER. Are any of these things I need to book ahead? Second 2 options seem to have 1st vs 2nd class ticket options. We are traveling on a Wed in October.

Trains from Arles to Avignon Centre are about 18 a day and take under 20 minutes. I am guessing they are almost like commuter trains and don't need prepurchase. For that short a ride I don't think 2nd class would be too bad unless you need to sit for sure. Anyone else with thoughts on this?

Zou! Is just a fancy brand the region put on the TER trains it subsidizes. Neither these, nor regular TER require advance reservation. These are local commuter trains.
