Train question

I need to get from CDG to Biarritz. There is a TGV station at the airport, but when I try to book a train CDG to Biarritz, it starts at Gare Montparrnase. Do I need to transfer to Montparnesse, then get the train? Very confused!

There is no TGV service direct to Biarritz from CDG,
You can either take a cab to Gare Montparnasse or some other form of public transportation to get there
Or if you want bypass Paris Montparnasse take the TGV from CDG to Bordeaux and then from Bordeaux take a train from there to Biarritz

As others have said your options are:

(1) Connecting flight
(2) Train from CDG to Bordeaux and then to Biarritz
(3) Paris public transport to Montparnasse.

If you want to go to Montparnasse, it is one of the less convenient Paris stations to get to from CDG due to lack of an RER line (quickest route is RER to Chatelet followed by Metro Line 4 to Montparnasse). If you leave yourself plenty of time, the most convenient route would be by Le Bus Direct express bus which goes all the way from CDG to Montparnasse with no changes, although there is more risk of traffic delays than if you go by train.
