First time to Europe and we are wondering what is the best way to get a train from downtown Paris to Bordeaux. We leave September 10th.
Do we need to book ahead of time?

Buy a ticket, then board the train, find your seat and enjoy the ride.

You should book ahead, it will save you a bit of money and the trains can sell out.
A source for good train info:

Among other things, it will tell you which Paris station to use.
Thanks. Looks like a good resource.
It's a super easy trip. You're in Bordeaux before you know it.
