I purchased my ticket through a link on this site. A TGV train. I have a coach seat number101, but I can't find the car number. Is this car number 10 seat number 1??

Do you have a print-at-home ticket or one sent to you by post?
Either way it should say date, time, train number, coach number and seat number. These may be in different languages depending on which site you bought it from.
It might be useful if you told us which site you got it from, and some other details such as where you are travelling from and to and as much info as you know.
A normal TGV ticket (one you buy at the station or get by post) looks like this: Voiture (coach) 16, place (seat) 47

If you want to forward a copy to [email protected], we can attempt to read it. Staff in the train station should also be able to help, but the Paris stations get quite busy.
