Hi. My plane is scheduled to arrive in CDG at 8:30 am, and there is a train to Bordeaux at 11:19. Assuming there plane arrives on time, is it likely that I would make the train?
Thanks.
If your plane is on-time, yes. Does the carrier have a 100% on-time performance record?
Are you asking for the sake of buying an advance purchase discount train ticket? If so, if the discount 50% or more, might be worth the gamble.
Thanks so much. I went to train line.eu but didn't see how to find the option for the discount.
Looking at a random date (May 16) at the SNCF website, the walk up fare is 98 EUR, and there is a discount fare of 89 EUR. That level of discount would not entice me to buy ahead. The discount fare is called a TGV Leisure Fare. Exchangeable up until departure for a 15 EUR fee, worthless after the train departs.
Thanks very much.
