Construction on this train route is requiring multiple stops and extended length of travel. Our tour starts October 17. Anyone have recommendations to get from CDG to Chartres?
Is some sort of shuttle or taxi a reasonable option?

My suggestion: Take a taxi to Versailles Chantiers. Should cost 80-95 euro. Then in Versailles Chantiers you can take a direct train to Chartres.
The ticket you get out of a ticket machine at the station, or using the App. These are regional trains that do not require advance purchase.

What day are you traveling? If it is October 16th, you can take a taxi to Gare Montparnasse for 65€ and catch a train from there to Chartres from there.
