Hello fellow travellers. We need to take the train from Amiens to Paris on Friday, Sept. 27. Should we book now or get a ticket when we arrive at the station? Our departure time is flexible. If we should book now, what site do you recommend us Canadians use? I know some sites have issues with our Visa cards.

You do not need to buy that in advance.
That route is served by regional trains which do not sell out and they are the same price everyday about 16 euros one way
You can get slightly discounted tickets - saving a few euros per ticket, 5-10 euros I'd reckon - if you book in advance on Oui.sncf, but the tickets are of the no exchange, no refunds variety, so don't sweat it if your card won't make the purchase : you can buy on the day, it doesn't sell out.
