Indeed, the Carte Avantage is currently on sale for half off. €24.50 instead of €49.

I took advantage of this sale last year and I’m so happy I did. It saved me €€. I just wish I had another trip coming up. After 2 trips to Europe this year totaling 16 weeks and with 6 of them in France I’m taking next year off.

Why is there never a discount when I need to renew mine 😭😭😭?
I need to keep an eye out next year, since you can renew cards several months before they expire.

I know Balso -- I always pay full price, it's so annoying. I guess because mine always comes up due in the summer, when they are definitely not offering a discount !!

I have the Advantage Senior card, purchased at half price early this Fall, and put it to good use in the last month.
A friend recently told me that you can purchase it when on sale and delay the start date for, I think, 6 months, so it's worth looking into even if you don't need it immediately.

SharYn, that’s what I did last year. I bought the card during the sale and the activation date I used to start it was the day in March that I was arriving in France.
