Towns serving Mont St. Michel in Oct. - Shuttle to train stations? We need A.M. departures.

Hi all, This is a two part question:
With October being near the end of the tourist season there seems to be less morning specific trains running from Mont St. Michel back to Paris. We need to get back to Paris before dark. Question: Which towns or trains stations should we be looking that:
1) Offer shuttles or buses from Mont St. Michel to a town where a morning train (like 11: a.m.) can be booked? We are looking at different schedules and most trains in October seem to be leaving the Mont St. Michel area back to Paris Only in the afternoon which would unfortunately arrive after dark in Paris. Any ideas the best train station or town with a shuttle to train having a morning departure would be appreciated. We can also take a bus which would take longer but if it arrives during daylight that might be another option. Thank you.
