Tour de France Paris 2025, Where to watch?

My 3 daughters and I will be in Paris on July 27th when the Tour de France ends. Because I always watch the Tour on TV every year, I'd love to see the Tour riding by. Someone told us that we should aim to watch near Jardin des Tuilleries on Rue de Rivoli, exit the Metro at Palais Royal-Musee de Louvre. Is that still good info? I don't want to spend the day watching but maybe hang out for a couple of the rounds they make. Also any idea of the timeframe that day, when we should be in place? Thanks in advance for any info.

We’ve done this twice, in 2003 and 2010. The exact route changes every year, though the last bit of the last day has always been the same near the Arc De Triomphe (last year was in Nice due to the Olympics). A few weeks prior to the race, the exact path for each stage, down to every road and twist and turn, is published. Then you can map out good places to stand. To avoid crowds we picked spots both times where they came by a couple of times before they headed over to the Champs d’Elysee .

The published info also includes approximate arrival times at various points, though they are only estimates.
