Keeping positive that our trip in September/October will work out.
Been to France several times, but never rented a car. Did rent in Italy, with no problems. Our plan this year once we get to France: Avignon - 5 nights. Will pick up car on day two or three to visit area towns. We will then head towards Toulouse, before continuing on to Sarlat and Bordeaux/Saint Emilion.
We’re looking for a hotel or B&B in or near Toulouse with parking and easy drive in and out. We will only be in Toulouse for three nights, so don’t plan on using the car while there. It seems like Toulouse is a good size city, so don’t want to have to drive in “the thick of it”. I have looked at several places on Trip Advisor, but haven’t quite found what I am looking for.
