Total disruption/roadworks on Paris RER C from July 26-Aug 22

Looking on the Transilien website, I see that there is a planned total disruption/roadworks on Paris RER C from July 26 to August 22. As this is the route commonly used to reach Versailles from downtown Paris, I would think this might affect many travel plans.
Does anyone know if the RER C disruption is likely to be extended into the second week of September?
I first noticed this when investigating why Bonjour RATP and Google Maps did not mention RER C and offered instead various unusual routes.

The RER C has been down in central Paris much of the time for many years. This summer it is as you noted down for a month and yes this is the train to Versailles so people will have to do awkward work arounds. Sometimes you can just pick up the C on the edge of the city but it looks like that is not going to be possible this summer. In my experience the dates announced for transport repairs are accurate. We have been on metro lines closed for weeks at a time for upgrading and those dates have been accurate. No authority here of course.

Well, I suppose it does make some sense that August was picked for this disruption due to the large number of Parisians who will be on vacation in August. Good to hear that official estimates are likely to be somewhat accurate; if not, we will switch to Plan B and find our way to Versailles.
