Top restaurant choices for lunch in Reims

If any of you have a recommendation...As part of our trip in early October; we'd be looking at lunch on a Tuesday about 1:15pm (I mention that as some restaurants close at 2pm and are very strict; some are OK as long as you order by 130/145).

This does not need to be budget; we're happy to pay for a good meal.
Are there any restaurants worthwhile near the cathedral, or will that be too touristy?

We are planning on the noon tour at Veuve-Clicquot, thus the timing.

Thank you

Thank you davebarnes

Sure, and I use them often (TripAdvisor the most). However, I have learned that the reviews (whether good or bad) are not always indicative and that personal experiences from the trusted posters here are the most reliable.

Thank you Alexander

Would you know how strict or lax the restaurants are regarding the 2pm close time? For example, does that mean "hard close at 2pm" or kitchen closed, but dining patrons can finish their meal without stress & pressure a few minutes past 2pm?

I ask, because in the US and Germany, I have had some occasions where arriving 30 minutes before closing was greeted very unwelcoming.
