Anyone with knowledge of the area have transportation suggestions for getting from 23 Rue Brey to Versailles. We were planning on taking the Charles De Gaulle Metro Station which appears by the above link to be closed. Also is there a time that closings at the stations begin and end? Thank you for any help
The metro closures begin at 8 am. When they will reopen will depend on how the day goes — the authorities base the closures on the situation on the ground.
I just read they are really angry about the response to Notre Dame fire and millions already being pledged. They feel their plight is being ignored.
Spent yesterday at D'Orsay and all around St Germain. No sign of protest at all till nightly news on France24.
