Toaster's on Tables

Was on RS City France tour a few years ago and staying in the Rue Cler area; one evening my wife and I were eating on our own and discovered this wonderful restaurant serving escargot with toaster's on the table for the bread. Would anyone know of this place? I have been searching but can't find it. We had a RS Adriatic tour for 2021 and 2022 which we had to cancel with all the issues going on so 2023 we are back on. Problem is getting out of DBV there is a minimum 10hr lay over in CDG coming back home so we decided to just stay a couple night in Paris since we will be with friends who never been there before and wanted to go back to the Toaster Table place. Any information please.
Thanks

have you looked at "Le Grill Pain" at 40 Rue des Cloys, Paris? Nearest Métro is Lamarck – Caulaincourt, behind Montmartre so not exactly close to the rue Cler area...

Le Grill Pain is French for toaster. (Le Toasteur appears to have supplanted the original le grill pain these days, what would Institute Larousse say?? !! )

Photos show two slice toasters on many of the tables, and the menu seems to be sort of tourist regulars, so escargot and self made toast would fit. But I've never been there, just used google and searched in French...

Thanks but not the one. This place looks like a bar and close to Montmarte where the one I am trying to locate is close to Eiffel.
Thanks for the try and maybe someone will find it.

Is it http://domainedolleac.com/en/presentation-en/? It specializes in duck and dishes from the southwest of France. It's not super close to the tower but maybe. Or maybe and probably more likely given where you were staying, it was Au Petit Sud Ouest on Avenue de la Bourdonnais but Au Petit, at that address, is closed. I say at that address because I see there is a place with a similar name in a nearby suburb but I have not idea if the restaurant moved or went out of business. The new place at at address is supposedly very good but I have never been.

Such a specific request, I would look for vlogs from people living in Paris and reach out to them. Or people who put together foodie tours, there's a huge demand for that.

Not sure what resources you are using to look, but I find google maps to be helpful. I usually know about the way I went or walked, have a landmark or two, then by having maps show all restaurants, I can usually narrow down someplace I went. Maps also links to review sites, so there may be inside pictures taken by posters, and if Google Street view is available, you can see the outside of the building.
