Currently (or as much as can be predicted 3 weeks out) if one were to travel within France, what is the most reliable method? Travel by plane from Orly OR travel by train?
Specifically Paris to Toulouse.
Any guess on if either is unreliable (for example, wide scale cancelling of flights?
We are taking the train from CDG to Aix en Provence in early September IF we go. The CDC warning may change our plans.
They are both pretty reliable. And Paris to Toulouse is an easy trip by TGV so I would not even consider flying.
I have no idea about current reliability, but Toulouse is a center of aviation design and construction, so many locals fly to Paris rather than take the long train ride.
Aix-en-Provence is a totally different route and about half the time as Paris-Toulouse.
