We like the Hotel Minevre on Rue des Ecoles. We've stayed there a few times and the staff are wonderful. Also Hotel Familia next door is very nice. It's a two star, Minevre is a 3 star. Nice old, traditional breakfast room downstairs. There's a Basque restaurant we frequent on Rue St. Germain about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It's lively and fun and has great salads.
