Timed Entry tickets to Sainte-Chapelle and Conciergerie

We will be in Paris in May and we have purchased our Paris Museum Pass online. I would like to reserve an entry time to Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie. There is a combo ticket which allows us to reserve a time for Saint-Chapelle but not the Conciergerie. It says the visit to the Conciergerie must be done on the same day at the time of your choosing but there is no way to reserve a time. Does this mean we don't need a timed entry for the Conciergerie as long as we go on the same day as Sainte-Chapelle?

You do not need a timed entry to the Conciergerie. It's been discussed on the Forum before because it's confusing.

I do recall reading somewhere that if you go to the Conciergerie first, then it's easier getting into Sainte-Chapelle without waiting in the long lines. Anyone know how much time we should allocate at the Conciergerie?

I was just there and did both on the same day.

The answer as to how much time to dedicate to the Conciergerie depends on several factors, including how much interest the traveler has in the French Revolution and the building, which is pretty bare - though they do provide an “iPad” that shows how it may have looked - how the traveler consumes museums, etc. but I think 1 to 1.5 hours for the Conciergerie is enough. It is a 5 minutes or less walk from Sainte-Chapelle.

Thanks "Born". How was the process getting into Sainte-Chapelle after Conciergerie? I figure we'll be there early afternoon on a Wednesday.

I went to Sainte first. I was there in mid-March and crowds were light as a result. Not sure what month you will be there.

I had a Paris Museum Pass since I had planned to see many items the pass covers and was able to save money. For Conciergerie, there was no line. I had a timed entry for Sainte. The security line took about 15 min and then we walked right in. Again, the lines were short since it was March.
