On the homestretch with trip preparations. I plan to get a Paris Museum Pass at CDG, and was successful in reserving a time slot at the Louvre, but am finding the Sainte-Chapelle ticketing system utterly baffling. I’ve been looking at this site: https://tickets.monuments-nationaux.fr/fr-FR/produits-seances
It’s not letting me do anything, and does not appear to have a Paris Museum Pass option. Any advice? Thanks!
6th one down - OTHER FREE.
if need be, once you're on the ground you could try getting help at a ticket office inside a FNAC store
Thanks, skunklet and phred. I might have to go to that store. On the website, I did get as far as selecting a date and time, and putting in my email, but then made many, many attempts to put in a password, all unsuccessful. Argggh.
did you create an account and are you logged in?
It really doesn’t seem to be letting me create an account, so….FNAC it is.
So there's an option to continue without an account but you still have to enter an email. It took awhile but it went through.
Hmm. I did enter an email, and the time I picked shows one less person (although of course a slot could have been taken by someone else). It was the first slot of the day, 9:30. Would it be a reasonable strategy to show up, say, 9:00, and see what happens?
Well, several hours later, I got my e-ticket for Sainte-Chapelle, without having created an account. Whew! And thanks for the advice and encouragement.
So, i am looking at it and it looks like you don't need a reservation if you are a museum pass holder. Can any one confirm?
They strongly recommend getting a timed-entry reservation - it’s only required for groups, but seems like a good idea for individuals also. There appears to be a ~5 hour delay between trying to do anything on the website (at least from the U.S.) and getting results, but it does happen eventually.
Thanks. I would love to get a timed entry, but the site does not even have a link to a timed entry...just tickets.
edit - never mind...i am an idiot. figured it out :|
I couldn’t figure it out at first either - skunklet helped me. Anyhow, it does feel good to have a reservation.
