I’m meeting my Belgium relative, after not seeing them for 3 years, in Paris on May 14. We’re hoping to find an enjoyable spot outside of Paris to catch up for a day. Some suggestions were Fountainbleau and Auvers-sur-Oise.
I am hoping for some other suggestions or things to do in these two area.

Are they traveling in just for the day? Driving or train?
Also, are you looking to slow down and enjoy each other’s company with say gardens or cafe time? or have bigger sites/activities?
