Time between trains in Paris

I am travelling “through” Paris in May with my elderly parents and an aunt. We are coming into Gare du Nord on the Eurostar from London and will be departing from Gare St Lazare to Bayeux later that day. Never having been to Paris and most certainly not likely to be back, my Mom would like to see the Eiffel Tower while we are there between trains. If I were to have us into Paris by 11:20 and leaving for Bayeux at 4:00 I thought after finding lockers to store our carry on at St Lazare, we could take the bus to the Champ de Mars stop, and back again with perhaps time for a quick lunch? I note from other posts that most do not recommend the bus tour busses so thought this might be a good option to see the city in a whirlwind kind of way? Any concerns from forum members with the security of the luggage storage options at Gare St Lazare? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I'm not sure St. Lazare has lockers. Google will tell you if it does but also any private storage options close by.

I confirm that there is no luggage storage inside Gare Saint Lazare, but I am sure you can find a private option (e.g. through Nannybag) in the vicinity.

Bus #42 takes you from Gare Saint Lazare to the Eiffel Tower, but a cab could help you save time at a reasonable cost. Lunch options by the Eiffel tower aren't great: I'd get lunch by Gare Saint Lazare, there are many quick options catering to nearby office/store workers.

By the way, you could leave for Bayeux later than 4. There are trains at 5 and 6 that still get you in at a reasonable hour. 5 gets you there by 7.30 in time for dinner.

I have also been researching luggage storage at St. Lazare and there doesn’t seem to be any in the station itself. There are options within a few blocks radius as per google maps. I am considering City-Locker.
