My husband just surprised me with a trip to Paris over Valentine's Day since he knew I wanted to see the Davinci exhibit at the Louvre. I went to website to purchase tickets and they seem to be completely sold out!! Does anyone know if/how I can purchase two tickets between Feb 14-17th?? Thank you!

If you join the Amis du Louvre as a couple (€120), you can reserve timed tickets for the exhibit. All of your dates are available, and the membership supports the Museum (plus other benefits).

Thank you for the replies. I did sign up for the Amis du Louve membership but just realized that I need to do it as a couple! I believe I also have to wait to receive my membership number before I can make a reservation. Hopefully I can add my husband and make a reservation that way. I appreciate the help and I sure hope this works out!

Someone sent me a message that she put 00000 in the membership number space and was able to reserve, so go ahead and reserve now. I think I did the same but don’t remember as I reserved in October. If your card(s) are delayed in the mail, the Amis office under the Pyramid will issue a duplicate because you will be in their computer. Personal experience.

You are right! That worked, thank you. I believe I am only entitled to one ticket though since I purchased a single membership. Do you think they will allow me to upgrade my membership to a double in person? I will try calling them, but I am in the US and do not speak french, so I am not sure how that will work. I'm thinking of just purchasing a separate membership for my husband and just losing out on the 40 euro discount for the double. It might be easier than stressing!

They never answered the phone when we called but someone did get a response to an email. I'd go ahead and book your husband's ticket as a member but then email a request about how to expand your membership. If they don't answer, and they didn't answer mine, just go into the office to take care if it, but have the photo ready.
