We've been trying to buy tix online for Monet Garden visit- we get almost through and the site disappears... is anyone else having trouble or have idea how to get these? Thanks
First thing I do is let my bank know I'll be using my cc for an overseas transaction.
Last year it took many tries but after setting up an account was able to get tickets. This year my travel partner tried numerous times so I tried by logging in first and was able to get our tickets on the first try. Did you set up an account first? that might help.
Best of luck!
Oh, cool! I'm a travel partner!! I tried multiple times over several days to purchase these tickets. I called my CC company to notify them, it still didn't work. I tried 2 different cards. I finally had one of them on the line as I tried the purchase again and was rejected by the ticket site. The CC rep said there was no attempt to charge my card that time or any of the prior times, so it was not getting that far in the system. Not being terribly technology ept I also rebooted the computer and cleared the cookies. I never did figure it out, fortunately I have a brilliant travel partner who was able to do it.
Here try getting them through the FNAC box office. The FNAC is a large, well-known store in France that also sells tickets to concerts, museums, etc. You might have more luck with their computers.

We haven't heard of any issues booking for the Monet Gardens but FNAC is a good alternative.
We had AAA try and book us tix thru the Garden and fnac site and they couldn't get the transaction to go through either. We give up and will just look for a FNAC store when we get to Paris next week.
thnks
If you're planning on going there early in the morning when they open you don't need to get tickets in advance. I went early and was there when they opened and just got my tickets there, no big line - about 10 people ahead of me.
We booked our day tour to Giverny, tour of Paris, Mont St. Michel, Normandy Beaches and Versailles through Gray Line Tours. They subcontract out their tours in Paris. You can go to Gray Line Tours.com to see their options.
