I am looking to book tickets to visit the Louvre on Friday June 2. The website states the the museum is opened late on Fridays but this Friday they do not seem to be selling tickets after 5 the Friday before and have time slots. It does not appear that they were offered for that date
I can’t find any information about the museum closing early. Am I missing something

I just received an email from the Louvre that said the first Friday evening each month is free. It also says to reserve tickets but I don't see any after 4:30. I know they are trying to target the young, dating public to get them interested in the Louvre.
You should probably just wait, or buy a ticket for 4:30 but stay on.
Thanks perfect thanks I will have a museum pass so was planning on booking for around 2:30-3 but if it closed early I would have booked for the morning. I will most likely spend a good 5 or so hours in the museum. I assume they will not clear out the museum prior to the free Friday night admission. I would imagine it would be a logical nightmare.
